Dutch health care is well-organised, but the system does differ from other countries. It is important that your employee is up to date on the local healthcare system practices.

Health insurance
All residents of the Netherlands must have at least a basic health insurance plan. The basic health insurance can be extended by additional health insurance coverage, depending on the medical needs.
