Your assignee needs to be up to date on the local healthcare system practices. The Dutch health care is well-organised, but the system does differ from other countries.

Health insurance

All residents of the Netherlands must have at least a basic health insurance plan. The basic health insurance can be extended by additional health insurance coverage, depending on the medical needs.
