Settle Service, the largest immigration- and relocation provider in the Netherlands, has earned the EuRA Quality Seal certification on Thursday April 10th 2008.

EuRA is the European Relocation Association, the umbrella organisation of the leading relocation providers in Europe. EuRA has always focused on the professionalism of its members and has supported process improvements over time throughout the industry.

In order to take quality management a stage further and to assist industry practitioners with the implementation of a quality management system, EuRA has teamed up with DQS to develop a certification standard for the relocation industry called the EuRA Quality Seal.

January 4, 2008 Settle Service supports Mercy's Orphanage

Mercy's Orphanage (please also see www.vriendenvanmercy.com) is an orphanage in the south of India. The founders of the orphanage have a background in education. This is a very important item for the children that live there. Settle Service's donation will be spent on either the home itself or on one of the schools.

We had a few requirements in mind, when selecting the fund of choice. We wanted to support the new generation in a transparent project, preferably in India. India is the country where many of our current clients have their roots. Therefore, the donation to Mercy's Orphanage is a logical one for Settle Service. They meet our requirements fully. We are sure that our donation will come in good hands.

July 24, 2007 One World One Dream

Our colleague Judith van Kampen is going to Beijing for the Olympic Games 2008.

The Dutch Softball Team has earned it's place at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 by winning from their all-time rival Italy. A score of 3-2 was enough to do the trick.

Settle Service colleague Judith van Kampen is a valued member of the Dutch Softball team and euphoric about the result: "I never thought to see it happen in my sport career, I just can not believe it!"

We are proud to have Judith as a colleague and will follow the team as they go along and prepare for the BIG EVENT.

Good luck!

The Olympic Games will be held from August 8 to August 24, 2008

May 9, 2007 University research assistance

The Netherlands, a cultural Piece of Cake?

Settle Service gladly assists the Radboud University of Nijmegen, Department op Business Communication and the University of Groningen, Department of Psychology with the following research project:

For expatriates who come to the Netherlands, it can be difficult to initially come into contact with the Dutch, while friendship with Dutch people may help settle in. The universities of Nijmegen and Groningen have started a new project to demonstrate that regular contact between recent arrivals and host families is not only a very cost-effective way of helping people on international assignments better settle in their host country, but also a great way to stimulate social exchange between people of different cultures.

December 28, 2006 Season Greetings!

On behalf of all colleagues at Settle Service would like to express our gratitude towards our clients for the pleasure of partnership and working together in the past years. In stead of expressing our gratitude in presents, we would very much like to donate the money to the KiKa Foundation.

The KiKa Foundation is a Dutch foundation that supports the "Children with Cancer" Centres throughout the Netherlands. They raise funds to speed op the process of research so that children, who are our future, will benefit from the knowledge and stand a better chance of winning the battle against cancer.

We hope you will enjoy Christmas and the Festive Season!
