Dutch Language and Culture

Many expats living in the Netherlands, find it essential to intergrate by learning about the Dutch language and culture.

Dutch Language Training

Even though many Dutch nationals speak English, you might desire to take at least some Dutch language courses to integrate successfully. We advise on and coordinate admission to the most suitable language course fitted to your situation.

There are various language schools in the Netherlands to choose from, particularly in the main cities, with prices ranges depending on the choice of school, level, intensity, and group size. Also, the type of desired langague knowledge must be taken into account, e.g. conversational or business language course. There are also numerous resources to learn Dutch online, which are designed to perfectly fit your (busy) schedule.

Last but not least, in order to obtain a Dutch residence permit, some NON Eu nationals must pass the civic integration exam (inburgeringsexamen) which requires a knowledge of the Dutch language. History and culture are also part of the exam.

Culture Training

The cultural training is designed to respond to the needs of international assignees being seconded to the Netherlands by providing practical information and advice on the various aspects of living and working in the Netherlands. The course is available for individuals, couples, families and groups. The actual training is tailor made for your organization/the specific needs of the employee.

The Netherlands is an amazing country with an even more amazing culture. But if you’re not properly prepared, you could possibly find yourself confused by some of their common cultural tendencies.
