Immigration officer

In the role of immigration office at Settle Service you will advise our clients and your relocation colleagues on immigration matters. In consultation with the client you will define which procedure to follow. You will handle the applications for business visas, entry visas incl. MVV, residence permits, highly skilled migrant permits, work permits, extension application and/or any other required documents. Besides that, you will also handle 30% ruling applications.

 Your profile:

  • Educational level equal to Dutch HBO (preferably juridical)
  • Good analytical, written and verbal communication/presentation skills in at least Dutch and English
  • Service minded and customer friendly, with the ability to perform within certain boundaries
  • A minimum of 2 year work experience within the service branch
  • Decisiveness
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
  • The ability to deal with stressful situations

Freelance consultants

A Settle Service consultant is our face on the road. In this role, you will accompany our clients to various appointments and inform and advise the client about the decisions to be taken. 

All the relocations are coordinated from our office. From there the first contacts with both the company and the international employee find place. The requirements and wishes from the different parties are listed and the planning for the programme on-the-road is made.

The relocation services may include orientations, home searches, visits to different schools, registration at the town hall, appointments with the IND, assistance at banks to open an account and to inform about insurances, move in/move out inspections, assistance with applying for internet etc. etc.

Candidate profile:

  • educational level equal to Dutch MBO/HBO
  • a minimum of 2 years experience in the relocation business and/or personal experience living abroad
  • good analytical, written and verbal communication/presentation skills
  • fluent in at least English and Dutch (verbal/in writing)
  • good computer skills
  • an extensive knowledge of your living area (housing market/schools/etc.)
  • a global mindset and intercultural awareness
  • in the possession of a drivers' licence and a representative car
