Relocation services overview

After a thorough analysis of the situation, your relocation coordinator will draw up a programme. This will always be in accordance with your company's guidelines and that will consist of one or more of the following services:

- Destination services inbound
- Departure services
- Destination services outbound

Destination services inbound

pre assignment orientation programme;
coordination of the move;
welcome meeting with one of our consultants;
presentation of the Settle Kit (an extensive information package about life in the Netherlands and specifically the region you will be living in);
home finding (temporary or permanent, rent or purchase);
settling in services;
schooling programme
neighbourhood orientation/familiarisation tour;
exchanging of the driver's license;
car import;
repatriate assistance.

Departure services

When your employee leaves the Netherlands, he tends to be busy with all kinds of matters, except for the more administrative. This can cause problems. In departure programmes, Settle Service can assist with the following services:

cancellation of lease;

reimbursement of deposit;

disconnection of utilities;

cancellation of subscriptions at papers, sport clubs, etc;

deregistration of the children at school;

personal deregistration at local authorities;

forwarding of mail.

Settle Service will make sure that the assignee leaves the Netherlands without leaving behind the necessary administrative steps. With this certainty in mind, the assignee can focus on the new destination.

Destination services outbound

Thanks to our extensive network of contacts all over the world, Settle Service can also arrange your outbound relocations. The advantage of this is that you will have only one contact person, who knows both the company policy and the immigration and destination service providers abroad.

Immigration services

Accuracy is the key factor in immigration services. Per individual case, our immigration specialists determines the most adequate procedure to be followed. Once this is clear, they will apply for the necessary visa and/or permits on behalf of your company:

- MVV's (provisional residence permits)
- highly skilled migrant permits
- work permits;
- residence permits;
- business visa.

We will also provide assistance with registration at the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) and, once a house has been found and the actual move has taken place, registration at town hall.

If applicable, our immigration specialists can handle the application for the 30% rule. The 30% ruling allows an employer to provide the employee with a tax-free allowance of up to 30% of his wages.
