Haarlem, April 13th, 2008

Settle Service, the largest immigration- and relocation provider in the Netherlands, has earned the EuRA Quality Seal certification on Thursday April 10th 2008.

EuRA is the European Relocation Association, the umbrella organisation of the leading relocation providers in Europe. EuRA has always focused on the professionalism of its members and has supported process improvements over time throughout the industry.

In order to take quality management a stage further and to assist industry practitioners with the implementation of a quality management system, EuRA has teamed up with DQS to develop a certification standard for the relocation industry called the EuRA Quality Seal.

The findings of DQS during the certification audit are that Settle Service meets all the requirements and achieved the EuRA Seal

We had a few requirements in mind, when selecting the fund of choice. We wanted to support the new generation in a transparent project, preferably in India. India is the country where many of our current clients have their roots. Therefore, the donation to Mercy's Orphanage is a logical one for Settle Service. They meet our requirements fully. We are sure that our donation will come in good hands.

Our colleague Judith van Kampen is going to Beijing for the Olympic Games 2008.

The Dutch Softball Team has earned it's place at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 by winning from their all-time rival Italy. A score of 3-2 was enough to do the trick.

Settle Service colleague Judith van Kampen is a valued member of the Dutch Softball team and euphoric about the result: "I never thought to see it happen in my sport career, I just can not believe it!"

We are proud to have Judith as a colleague and will follow the team as they go along and prepare for the BIG EVENT.

For expatriates who come to the Netherlands, it can be difficult to initially come into contact with the Dutch, while friendship with Dutch people may help settle in. The universities of Nijmegen and Groningen have started a new project to demonstrate that regular contact between recent arrivals and host families is not only a very cost-effective way of helping people on international assignments better settle in their host country, but also a great way to stimulate social exchange between people of different cultures.

For reasons inherent in scientific research, we must apply certain criteria. We would appreciate your participation if you:
have arrived in the Netherlands in the past year
are from Europe, North America or Australia & speak English or French as first language
are on a temporary assignment of at least ten months
do not have a Dutch partner
